Family

Matthew Hemminghaus  2013

The "Family" has a double meaning as well.  The obvious chicken family that is in the photograph, and the objects, the railroad spike and biscuit cutter, which represent the two sides of my grandparents families.  I took advantage of the yellow native flowers with this mid summer set, along with my peachy moon.

All frames are hand built using reclaimed antique wood and non reflective Ultra View glass.  The mats are acid free 100% cotton rag and the images are printed using archival ink on Museo Silver Rag paper.
