Three Day Olds

Not much symbolizes spring as well as a baby chicken. These three were less than 24 hours old when I made this assemblage from found objects from the woods, rocks from the west coast, and my blooming orchid... the green grass being the first green of the season, and the sunflower seeds, ready for the planting.
All frames are hand built using reclaimed antique wood and non reflective Ultra View glass. The mats are acid free 100% cotton rag and the images are printed using archival ink on Museo Silver Rag paper.
